Unlock PDF is for documents you own where the password has become a friction point — old contracts, downloaded statements, archived reports. Converterzilla's unlocker will remove the user password from any PDF you can open, returning you a copy that opens freely.

How to use Unlock PDF in your browser

  1. Upload the locked PDF. Drop the password-protected PDF you want to unlock. We accept any standard PDF encryption.
  2. Provide the password. Enter the password you currently use to open the PDF. We never store, log or transmit it.
  3. Download the unlocked file. Save the unlocked copy. The original encrypted file stays untouched on your disk.
