Background removal extracts the foreground subject from a photo, leaving a transparent or replaceable background. Converterzilla's remover will run a small AI segmentation model in your browser via WebAssembly — your photos stay private and you don't pay per-image API fees.
How to use Remove Background in your browser
- Drop a photo. Upload any JPG or PNG with a clear subject.
- Click Remove. The AI model identifies the foreground and produces a transparent PNG.
- Optional: replace background. Drop a new background image, or pick a solid color for the new layer.
